About me

I am an assistant professor in the School of Mathematics at Trinity College Dublin.

My research is in the area of combinatorial algebraic geometry. In my work, I mainly use methods from tropical geometry to study classification and counting problems. In recent years, I have also developed some interest in applying my favourite mathematical methods in the sciences.

  • Exciting news: In September 2023, my first PhD student Vincenzo Reda joined Trinity College as a Hamilton Scholar.
